Software Engineer

Calytrix Technologies is a leading developer of simulation systems and software products in the Australian and international defence community. We are actively seeking a dynamic, versatile and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our growing team.

Based in the Perth CBD, you will be working with our team of experienced software developers to design, build and deliver simulation and training systems. We also expect you to work directly with our customers, which will require national and international travel.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity that offers a technically challenging and rewarding career to the right candidate.

As an all rounder with a 'can do' attitude, you will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Applicable university degree with 3-5 years professional experience
• Strong Object Oriented Design skills
• Excellent working knowledge in C++, C#, Java and/or Python
• Experience in Database Design
• Good understanding of Software Development Processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in developing multi platform software, including Windows and Linux.

The ideal candidate would also:

• Have knowledge of simulation (DIS and HLA standards)
• A Defence background
