Welcome to Calytrix Combat Net Radio Simulator (CNR-Sim):
Calytrix Combat Net Radio Simulator (CNR-Sim) is a software-only radio/intercom simulator. CNR-Sim is an affordable, easy to use, cross-platform tool that allows teams to communicate over a simulation network. Its simple push-to-talk interface supports multiple teams and switches quickly among any number of configurable communication channels.
Calytrix Combat Net Radio Logger (CNR-Log) is an audio logger which can record and replay audio events exchanged between CNR-Sim instances (or any other DIS compliant radio).

CNR-Sim is available in three versions:
CNR-Sim and CNR-Log are also available with the VBS2 platform, please visit Bohemia Interactive for bundling options.

Multi-Platform: Runs on Windows & Linux.
Software Only: No need for expensive hardware. Use any Windows or Linux computer with any compatible headset and microphone. Customizable: Define any number of communication channels, including channel names, frequencies and bandwidths, as well as team names and colours. Global Talk Hot Keys: Keyboard shortcuts can be configured and assigned to any number of Channels to trigger audio transmissions, even when the software is minimised and not in focus. Hardware Push To Talk: Support for Push To Talk hardware solutions such as the XKeys foot pedal to trigger transmissions on a specific audio Channel. Configuration Sharing: Configure your teams and channel settings once and share with other users across a network. Configurable Audio & Networking: Controls for speech sampling & playback fidelity, Multicast/Broadcast, Full-/Half-Duplex communications, and audio data compression for efficient use of network bandwidth. DIS Compliant: Fully configure your DIS radio PDU settings, and interact with other DIS-enabled applications. CNR-Sim does not block third-party DIS applications from running on the same machine. |

| CNR-Sim Pro API |
A Software Development Kit (SDK) for C++ and Java is now available for CNR-Sim and CNR-Log to enable third party applications to interact with any running Radio Simulator or Radio Logger over the network. The CNR SDK consists of a Programmers Application Interface (API) designed to quickly allow your applications to:

Recording: Captures audio transmissions from CNR-Sim, or any other DIS compliant radio.
Play back: Replays recorded transmissions, pause or seek to any audio event for specific analysis. Recordings can be replayed to the audio speaker and/or to the DIS network. For example, audio transmissions can be replayed instantly, alleviating the need of issuing a "Repeat Last" message to the broadcasting radio. Audio Sessions: Record any number of audio sessions, no software limits on session duration or number of recorded events or radios (limited by physical disk space only). Radio information: Displays all transmission timestamps, radio IDs, radio frequencies and audio signal durations. All radios on the network can be browsed to inspect their status. Audio Export: Export individual or multiple radio transmissions to single or multiple wave files on the fly, even while recording. Silence suppression: Compresses all silences between audio events or replay all in realtime. |
